Meghan Markle is back with her family at their home in Santa Barbara, as she posted a new video from her sprawling garden in Montecito, hours after she went on a date night at a Beyoncé concert with husband Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex took to her official Instagram account to post a 25-second clip showing a corner of her garden.
Meghan's footage shows a bird taking a bath in the Californian sunshine, while the Duchess can be heard giggling in the background. Today, the second Sunday of May, the US, along with other countries around the world, celebrate Mother's Day, with the Sussexes, who share Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, expected to make the day special for them. The Duchess of Sussex has previously spoken about the joys of motherhood on various occasions.
Most recently, she spoke about raising her children during a summit in New York last month.
Meghan said while speaking at the TIME100 summit: "I'm conscious of not just raising a very strong and confident young woman, but also having a son, I think is just as paramount of importance for young men to be raised with a confidence and sense of self that is going to empower the women around them too."
She added: "So I try to model that behaviour, but again, it starts with whatever is going on internally. "
It comes just hours after Harry and Meghan's date night in Los Angeles on Friday, when the couple were spotted enjoying a night out supporting Beyoncé during the fifth night of her Cowboy Carter tour in California.
Meghan looked stunning in a fitted denim, off-the-shoulder dress, while Harry looked dapper and theme-appropriate as he sported a grey jacket and a green fedora.
She also posted a series of photos from the night on her Instagram account on Saturday.
Their loved-up appearance comes days after Harry's bombshell interview with the BBC sparked backlash from various royal watchers.
