Donny Osmond marked an incredible milestone with his wife Debbie whom he married over four decades ago. The veteran performer, 67, was inundated with messages of support as he penned a heartfelt message to his other half which caught the attention of his 213,000 followers on X. The happy couple, who welcomed five sons, celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary and the Osmond performer marked the occasion with a tearful tribute.
The Puppy Love hitmaker praised his wife for sticking by his side through thick and thin as he thanked her for saying "yes" to his proposal in April 1978. Their engagement took place in Hawaii and they later married at the Salt Lake City Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Sharing a heartwarming black and white photo of the couple as young adults, Donny penned: "Thank you, Debbie, for saying yes to my proposal 47 years ago and for sharing this incredible and crazy adventure through show business with me.
"You've been more than I could have ever hoped for—my partner, my anchor, my inspiration, and my dear wife."

Wishing you both a very Happy Anniversary. Such an amazing and inspirational couple. Sending you both lots of love and to many many more years together."

A fifth added: "God bless you and your family, Donny. Many more happy years to you and your bride!"
The singer also shared the gorgeous tribute on his Instagram stories, adding the song "Endless Love" by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie in the background to signify his adoration.
Donny and Debbie first met as children, when they had an encounter in an airport.
"Her family recognised us from The Andy Williams Show and asked for our autographs. So I met her when she was three and I was five," he told Fox News Digital. "I've literally known her all my life."
The couple crossed paths again several years later, when she was dating his brother Jay.
"I was dating a girl named Tammy, and my brother Jay took Debbie out. We went to an Elton John concert," he recalled.
"When Elton sat down at the piano to sing "Your Song", I looked over at my brother's date and thought, 'I think I’m going to marry that girl someday.' And I did." Donny was able to thank Elton in person years later, telling him, "You're responsible for my marriage."
The couple share sons Don Jr., Jeremy, Brandon, Christopher, and Joshua. They are also the proud grandparents to 14 grandkids.
