Brooklyn Beckham has broken his silence after he was noticeably absent from David Beckham's birthday milestone. Victoria Beckham joined her husband and their children Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, for the pre-birthday festivities. However, Brooklyn, 26, and his actress wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham, 30, failed to make an appearance at the footballing legend's 50th birthday party.
Brooklyn and Nicola spent several days in London earlier this week but reportedly the couple flew back to the US on Saturday, just hours before David's party. It comes amid increasing speculation of a growing rift within the famous family. The budding chef has spoken out as he took to his Instagram Story to promote his hot sauce brand, Cloud 23.
He re-posted a clip of him talking about how he got the idea to create the condiment company.
Brooklyn explained: “Three years ago I was kind of figuring out what I wanted to do.
“One night, my wife and I were having a bottle of wine in our kitchen really late at night and my wife was like, ‘You love hot sauce, you love design, why don't you make a hot sauce?’
He then ordered some ingredients, made a sweet jalapeno sauce and recalled thinking, “I kind of want to try to do something with this,” before building a team and finding a CEO.
Brooklyn did not address the rumoured tensions with the Beckham clan.
Tensions reportedly arose after Brooklyn and Romeo stopped speaking, following Romeo's relationship with Kim Turnbull - who is claimed to have previously dated Brooklyn and his friend Rocco Ritchie.
TMZ claimed Brooklyn and Nicola now refuse to attend any family event where Kim is present.
