As the Prince and Princess of Wales's eldest child, Prince George has already visited a number countries around the world alongside his parents. The now-11-year-old made his royal tour debut aged nine months in Australia and New Zealand in 2014.

George - older brother to Princess Charlotte, 10, and seven-year-old Prince Louis - joined his parents at a special tea party at Buckingham Palace to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day yesterday.

The couple made the decision to allow their son to accompany them to one major part of the VE Day - with his appearance leaving many fans wondering when - and where - George wil take on his first solo tour.

Although there are no rules in terms of age when it comes to first solo royal tours, both Prince William and Prince Harry completed their first at age 23 - meaning that George could carry out his first solo tour in his early 20s.

Travelling to New Zealand in 2005, William joined the British and Irish Lions rugby team and then represented the Queen at events to commemorate the end of the Second World War.

Different to his brother, George's uncle Harry completed his first royal tour in Brazil, The Bahamas and Jamaica.

According to the Mirror, it is likely that George will first be dispatched to a key Commonwealth country such as Canada, Australia or New Zealand.

The publication shared that a visit to America would also be seen as vital owing to the warm relationship between the UK and US.

As well as Australia and New Zealand, George has also already paid visits to Canada, Poland and Germany - as well as private trips to Jordan, France and Mustique.

George is currently second in line to the royal throne - just behind William. George is followed by his sister, in third place, and his brother, who is in fourth.
