Piers Morgan has accused Brooklyn Beckham of giving Prince Harry competition for the "worst son" award after the eldest son of David Beckham skipped out on his 50th birthday celebrations over the weekend. The former Good Morning Britain host has long criticised the Duke of Sussex, 40, but has now weighed in on reports that Brooklyn has fallen out with his family due to his wife, Nicola Peltz, 30, allegedly taking issue with his younger brother Romeo's girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.

In a scathing post on his X account, Piers compared the behaviour from amateur chef Brooklyn, 26, with that of Prince Harry, who is famously estranged from the Royal Family after an almighty fallout involving how he believed they behaved poorly towards his wife, Meghan Markle. The Duke has sparked fury as he implied in a BBC interview that his father was behind his taxpayer-funded security detail being pulled that puts him and his family in harm's way.

Piers shared a newspaper headline that spoke of the Beckhams' estrangement from their beloved son, Brooklyn, and typed: "Brooklyn Beckham competing with Prince Harry for the Worst Son of the Year award. What a pair of spectacularly ungrateful, woefully entitled wretches."

In the comment section, Piers' followers shared that they believed that the Brooklyn and Harry's wives were at the centre of their family woes. One typed: "The article states that Brooklyn’s wife is at the heart of the problem. Meghan Markle 2? What on earth is wrong with these women who marry into fame and fortune for the…fame and fortune and then turn it sour?" Another replied: "Looks like yet another son whose wife does not like his family and wants to cause a rift."

However, others defended the pair, saying it is "private family matters" and nobody can understand what is going on for them behind closed doors. A third remarked: "Are you sure on this one? Family relationships are infinitely complex." Another commented: "Families have disagreements, sometimes it's common. I am sure it will blow over."

On Saturday, Brooklyn and his wife missed a significant event at the Michelin-starred restaurant Core by Clare Smyth. Meanwhile, David celebrated the occasion surrounded by his wife, Victoria, and three of their four children: Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13. A source told MailOnline, "Victoria and David would do anything to reconcile with their son, but they are done with Nicola now."

The source claimed that Nicola is the source of the feud, suggesting she often "finds a way to start an argument" between Brooklyn and his famous family. They added that while Brooklyn had allegedly planned to attend the birthday celebrations, his wife would "kick something off," making it "impossible" for him to go.

According to the source, Brooklyn feels he cannot visit his family, and this situation has occurred three times in a week. Additionally, sources indicate that Brooklyn is not in contact with his "family or old friends," drawing parallels to the strained relationship between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, given his own difficulties with family and friends in the UK.
