British Airways has kicked off a major sale event, slashing prices on flights and holidays to 10 popular destinations across the globe. The airline’s latest promotion, known as The Original Sale, promises significant savings on both short-haul and long-haul travel for 2025 and 2026, with headline fares designed to tempt British holidaymakers into booking early.

Sunseekers and city breakers alike are in for a treat, with return flights to New York available from just £389 and Dubai from £455. Those craving white sand and turquoise waters can book return flights to the Maldives from £599 or jet off to Antigua in the Caribbean for as little as £419.

Closer to home, European favourites like Venice and Ibiza are on offer from £295 and £368 respectively, perfect for a weekend escape or summer break.

British Airways isn’t just cutting prices on economy fares. Customers looking to travel in style can enjoy up to £600 off return Club World seats – the airline’s long-haul business class, on routes to the US and Middle East, including sought-after cities like San Diego and Dubai. Club World passengers benefit from lounge access, priority check-in and boarding, lie-flat beds and an elevated three-course dining experience.

For those booking a package, British Airways Holidays has rolled out enticing deals combining flights with hotel stays or car hire. Packages include seven nights in sunny St Lucia from £779 per person, and a week in family-favourite Orlando from just £569 per person.

Other highlights include a week at the All Seasons Resort in Barbados from £699 per person and a relaxing stay at the Coin De Mire Attitude hotel in Mauritius with breakfast included, from £879 per person. All holiday prices include return flights, accommodation and a 23kg checked bag per passenger.

Holidaymakers can also secure their trips with deposits from just £60 per person and pay off the balance in instalments, offering added flexibility for budget-conscious travellers. What’s more, British Airways Holidays is offering extra savings of up to £300 on package bookings made between 1–6 May 2025 for travel between 2 May 2025 and 30 April 2026.

The discounts range from £25 off when spending £625 or more on a flight and car package, up to £300 off holidays costing £10,000 or more.

With so many destinations on offer and a wide range of travel dates available, this sale is one of British Airways’ most generous yet. Anyone planning a holiday in 2025 or 2026 should act fast, as sale prices are only available for a limited time. The offer ends on May 20 2025.
