Finding the perfect dress for a wedding or special occasion can be tricky, so if you have an event coming up this year, you could take style notes from Susanna Reid. The Good Morning Britain presenter wore an eye-catching green dress on Tuesday.

Susannah chose the Cefinn Jessica lace midi, an elegant emerald frock by the London-based brand founded by Samantha Cameron.

In corded lace with scalloped hems, it has some seriously pretty details. The cut is also super-flattering; the button-down bodice nips in the waist, and the sleeves fall just above the elbow, which anyone who prefers a bit of upper-arm coverage will appreciate. The skirt is fitted and goes to just below the knee.

Retailing at £320, this one is admittedly an investment. If you do want to splash out, it is currently available in most sizes, though it is a shame that it only runs from 6 to 16. 

Susanna showcased the look on her Instagram page after wearing it on Good Morning Britain and gaining praise in the comments from her fans.

One commented: ''Welcome back, lovely dress.'' While another added: ''Loved this dress, green suits you.'' 

For a less-expensive option, the Monsoon Lace Midi Waisted Dress from Marks and Spencer could work. With lace details on the bodice and sleeves, it channels Susanna's look. It comes in a deeper forest-green shade and has a slightly longer floaty chiffon skirt rather than a more fitted style – ideal if you like an A-line shape. This one comes in a wider size range: 6 to 24.
