Sarah, Duchess of York has shown that she has been welcomed back into the Royal Family with one telling sign, according to leading body language expert, Judi James. Sarah, 65, who was married to Prince Andrew between 1986 and 1996, made a surprise appearance at the royal Easter Mattins service this morning.

King Charles and Queen Camilla stepped out to lead the service. The royal couple were also joined by Princess Anne, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh. Prince Edward and Sophie's son, 17-year-old James, Earl of Wessex also joined the annual event, alongside his cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

The Easter Mattins service is considered a private family event rather than an official engagement.

Sarah and Andrew's two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, were also in attendance - along with their husbands, Edoardo and Jack.

Speaking of Sarah, Ms James pinpointed a telling sign that Sarah has been well and truly welcomed back into the fold, telling the Express: "Fergie's appearance hinted that she is back in the fold.

"As Andrew darted off, supplying the furtive aspect of the outing, Fergie looked almost back to her animated and energised best."

She added: "Fergie greeted the clergyman like a royal and engaged him in conversation but there was a moment when he turned back to Anne and Fergie looked a little lost and isolated again until she was joined by her daughters [Beatrice and Eugenie]."

Sarah and the Duke of York arrived in a car along with his sister, The Princess Royal and his brother-in-law, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.

His arrival comes as a surprise after the furore over the Andrew’s links with alleged Chinese spy Yang Tengbo.

When the row first emerged, Andrew and Sarah made the decision to not attend the traditional Christmas gathering at Sandringham with the rest of the Royal Family.
