Fern Britton looked sensational on Wednesday when she shared a stunning photo on her Instagram story showcasing her toned legs. The former This Morning host wore a pink long-sleeved top paired with black cycling shorts, drawing attention to her impressive physique. Fern separated from her longtime partner, Phil Vickery, in 2020 and has appeared single since then. However, she hasn't let the breakup affect her spirits; instead, she has been committed to a rigorous fitness regime, revealing the fantastic results of her hard work. Fans were in awe of her transformation, flocking to the comment section to express their admiration and praise for her efforts.

Fern typed: "REPOWERING after a sloth like winter… #TheOlderIGet out in paperback now."

Fern revealed in January that she had started a new fitness regime to become the healthiest version of herself and frequently posts photos from her home gym, including several different weights.

She said: "I've started running again and returned to couch-to-5k. It's a new year, and I'm starting a new fitness regime. Later on in the year, I'll be walking a small leg of the southwest coast, which will take about a week to do.

"I'll be meeting my friend, who will be doing the whole 360 miles of coast, but I'm in training doing some walks throughout the week, wearing a rucksack with some weight in it, and wearing my boots to wear them in.

"I shall start running again, two or three times a week, and I'm going to start cycling again. I will do some weights to get my arms and shoulder a bit stronger again."

It comes as Fern also swiped at her ex-husband, speaking of "feeling like her own boss" after Phil was spotted kissing her friend Lorraine Stanton in 2022.

During an appearance on James Martin's Saturday Kitchen, Fern, who shares daughter Winnie, 22, with her ex, shared that "life is good" being a single woman meant there was now nobody there to judge her.

"I can sit down in the morning and watch all the daytime television I like. No one's going to judge me for it; I don't have to get dressed up and made up."
