Police have released an image of two men on CCTV, they are keen to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted while she was "sitting on a park bench". West Mercia Police have released the still of two men, one wearing a white T-shirt with dark and white patterned trousers and another wearing a black hoodie with black trousers with a white side stripe.

The force said a woman was approached by two men in Cripplegate Park in the St John's area of Worcester at around 6.25pm on Tuesday, April 29. A statement from West Mercia Police said: "The assault happened around 6:25pm in Cripplegate Park on Tybridge Street when the victim was approached by two men.

"One of the men sat next to her on a bench and sexually assaulted her.

"Officers are keen to speak to the men pictured as it is thought they were in the area at the time and may be able to help with enquiries.

Cripplegate Park is located to the west of Worcester on New Road opposite the famous county cricket ground which sits on the banks of the River Severn. 

According to Worcester City Council, the park features "mature trees and open space grassed areas, set out in a traditional style."

There is also a children's play area, tennis courts and bowling greens in the park which make it popular with local residents and tourists.
