There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur, and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost.

The Met Office also says that there is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.

Other advice for staying safe has also been issued.

It includes checking the flood advice in your area to determine when and where flooding will occur, as well as ensuring that your mobile phone is charged.

You may also want to park your car outside the flood zone and prepare a flood kit to help you cope in the event of flooding to your home and business.

Finally, make sure to store valuables up high, including electrical devices, important documents and furniture.
